The Sanford Orlando Kennel Club takes pride in their continual efforts to be a responsible corporate citizen in the central Florida area. Over the past 3 years, SOKC has made charitable donations in excess of $120,000. SOKC supports a variety of organizations that improve the lives of many people in the community. The track assists youth organizations including The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida, Seminole County Boy Scouts and Kids House of Seminole County. Our donations to the Life Crossroads Program at neighboring Northland Church directly benefits disaster response, homeless initiatives and other local services. SOKC supports the leaders of tomorrow by contributing to several educational institutions including Lyman High School and Seminole State College.
Each year one of our top priorities is to find loving homes for our retired racers. To guarantee success, SOKC provides financial assistance to several greyhound adoption agencies as they ensure a smooth transition from a life of racing to a life of leisure.
Sanford Orlando Kennel Club (SOKC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Penn National Gaming, Inc., operates a greyhound racing facility in Longwood FL. The facility features a ¼ mile track and has a combined capacity of 6,500 between its Grandstand and Clubhouse buildings, with seating for 4,000 and surface parking for 2,500 vehicles. The facility conducts year-round greyhound racing and greyhound, thoroughbred, and harness racing simulcasts.

Calling all NFL Fans!
Are you an NFL Fan and part of a local Fan Club? SOKC will be presenting again this year the NFL Sunday Ticket. Our exclusive Clubhouse is available to host your NFL Fan Club every Sunday during the 2013 Preseason, Regular Season, and Play-Offs. The Clubhouse features big-screen TVs mounted on the walls for easy viewing, plus a monitor at each table. Please call 407-831-1600 x249 for more information.
Back to the Track Tri-Super Promotion
On Thursday, July 4, 2013, on-track patron(s) holding a winning exchange ticket for the Tri-Super will earn a split of $5,000 . You must exchange your first half ticket and correctly select the order of finish in the second half. An "all" pay in the Tri-Super does not qualify for the bonus payout. This bonus is in addition to any winnings paid from the actual wager. Examples of possible bonus splits are: 1 winner = $5,000; 2 winners = $2,500 each; 5 winners = $1,000 each. All winners of the second half exchange should report to the Lead Teller Window on the Mainline of the Grandstand. Winners must have proper I.D. and complete any necessary IRS forms.
The SOKC 2013 Racing Schedule has been finalized. Please note that the start time for our performances will change. Matinee performances will start at 1:30 PM, and Evening performances will start at 7:35 PM. Also, we have added a new Matinee performance on Thursday!

Most Frequently Asked Question: DO Y'ALL RACE IN THE RAIN???
Answer: YES! We race in the rain just as race horses do. The only time we delay racing is when lightning is present. When the lightning passes we resume the race card.
Hours of Operation!
Doors open every day at 11:30am. Also, EVERY SUNDAY we stay open until 8:00 p.m. or until prices are posted on the final thoroughbred race from Hollywood Park or Santa Anita, whichever is later. Monday through Thursday we stay open to 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday we remain open until midnight.
We run year-round, 7 performances every week (January - June) and 5 performances every week (July - December).
We've rolled out a new SOKC menu in the Clubhouse. Please stop in and try some delectable items such as the sweet potatoes and the signature Parmsesan Crusted Chicken. You will be pleased with the food and the menu's new look.
The attractive SOKC Clubhouse is open 5 days/week (closed Monday and Tuesday). Please join us there - admission on live race days is $2. Proper attire required.
The SOKC minimum bet for Win-Place-and-Show pools is one dollar - Quinielas, Trifectas, Tri-Super - all can be straight bet at the dollar minimum.
